Divine Mercy Catholic School strives to learn, teach, share, celebrate, and inspire each other to be disciples of Christ
The mission at Divine Mercy Catholic School is to empower children to develop the attitudes, skills, and knowledge they will need to become lifelong learners and independent, productive members of society and future leaders of the Catholic Church. We believe this can be achieved through a school-family partnership of care and dedication.
Living as members of our Catholic Community, students and staff are constantly growing in their faith through religion classes and weekly Mass. Our community consists of our littlest learners through our soon-to-be graduates and the teachers, staff, and family members who guide them on their journeys.
To truly live out our Catholic faith, we are called to love God and all His creations. Loving is at the very core of our classroom and school environments.
Our teachers foster a respectful, positive learning environment in which students are taught to love and respect themselves and others just as God loves us all. Our education moves beyond foundational religious beliefs — all students and teachers live out this faith in God’s love through various service projects for the community.
As our students live and love as Christians, they grow as learners. We strive to educate the whole child – mind, body, and spirit. Our rigorous academics and high standards prepare our students for education in high school and beyond, and our commitment to faith development prepares students for their future lives on earth — and in heaven.
“We, the dedicated families, staff, and parish members of Divine Mercy Catholic School, join together as a prayer-centered faith community rooted in the Gospel message.Inspired by the teachings of Jesus, and challenged by the ever-growing needs of our society, we share with all members of the community a responsibility for educating the total child. Within a nurturing environment, active learners strive towards spiritual growth and academic excellence.
We respect the diversity and uniqueness of each individual and work cooperatively to build a sense of truthfulness and trust. Through meaningful interaction, we use our gifts and talents to serve the needs of others. By employing innovative strategies and techniques, we prepare our students to meet the challenges of the future.
We share the responsibility of global stewardship and resolve to enrich the quality of life for all people! Through spiritual formation, we prepare and empower our children to become future leaders of the church to carry on the Catholic traditions, values, and beliefs.”
