Hello! My name is Loreve Rucka and I have the honor of being the principal of Divine Mercy School. I began teaching in 2001 after I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education. Over the years I have taught four and five year old Kindergarten. This year marks my first as Principal. On a personal note, I have been married since 2004 and my husband and I have four wonderful children (Emelia, Charlotte, Henry, and Oliver). As a family we enjoy sports, baking, and spending time with each other. I look forward to our year to come and all the joy, experiences, and student success that awaits us!

Hello! My name is Christina Kaminski and it is my 9th year teaching, but my first year at Divine Mercy. I have the pleasure of  3K, 4th grade, and Kindergarten. I am a product of Catholic Education. I attended St. Romans and St. Thomas More and excited to be a part of your community. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While teaching I have served in AmeriCorps and have been a participant in both action research at UW and leadership programs. My husband Mike, and son Thomas love being outside and going up north to our family lake house.

Hi! I’m Miss Runnells! I am the First Grade teacher at Divine Mercy. This is my third year here, but I have been teaching for 11 years. I attended St. Norbert College and graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 2007. When I’m not at school you can find me walking my dog, cheering on Wisconsin sports teams, coaching cheerleading, reading a book, or spending time with family or friends.

Hi! I am Amy Andrade and I am happy to be teaching 2nd grade at Divine Mercy. Before coming to Divine Mercy, I had 14 years experience teaching at another school in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. I am a product of Catholic Education. I attended St. Stephen Martyr (K-8), St. Joan Antida High School, and Cardinal Stritch University. When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my niece, Lizzy, and I enjoy singing, dancing, and creating.

My Educational background includes a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the National Louis University as well as a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from UW-Whitewater. I have 20 years of classroom experience at the elementary level. I also have seceral years of special education experience. Away from school, I enjoy reading, traveling and attending sporting events with my husband and two boys.

Hi, I’m Laura Kukor-Shea. Helping my youngest sister with her homework was the spark that lit a teaching career. I’ve been at Divine Mercy (and its predecessor, St. Sylvester) since i graduated Marquette. I spent 28 years teaching first and second grades and am now starting my 11th year in the fourth grade. I especially love to teach Wisconsin History. My husband, Steve, and I met at a peace rally 2006, and we married in May of 2012. We share a passion for social justice, everthing Irish, books, and travel. Fun Fact: Ibegan taking gymnastic lessons on my 26th birthday. You’re never too old to strat learning something! My last competition was in 2011 when I won first place on vault and third place in All-Around.

This is my first year at Divine Mercy Parish School. I grew up in Minnesota and went to college at UW-Stevens Point and majored in Forestry with a law enforcement minor. I was a Police Officer for 20 plus years in the city of Janesville with a five-year stint in the narcotics unit with Illinois State Police. I am married with three children, all out of college, one a third-grade teacher in Milton, WI.

Hi! I’m Kayla Bieschke and I am so excited to be a part of the Divine Mercy Family! I have been teaching part time for 5 years and I am excited for my first year here at Divine Mercy. I believe all students can be succesful and that includes having a growth mindset. Respect and Responsibility are a focus in my classroom. I also am co-advisor of Student Council. In my free time, I coach basketball and love watching sports, especially the Packers, Badgers, and Bucks. I love to read and hang out with my family and friends. I’m looking forward to a great year!

I have been teaching for 17 years, all at Divine Mercy. I am currently teaching 7th & 8th Math, *th English/Language Arts, 7th Religion. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Math minor. Throughout the years, I have also taught 5th & 6th Math, 6th & 7th Literature and 6th & 8th Religion. I also coordinate our yearly student trip to Trees for Tomorrow, an outdoor education and resource center in Eagle River , WI; and our 7th & 8th grade trip to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, Monticello, Washington D C, and Amish Country every other year. In my free time, In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends…. Fall bonfires are my favorite. I also enjoy working on my computer, and dabbling i graphic design. I can not imagine not teaching. It truly is my first passion, and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to teach at Divine Mercy.
